Jackey Jackey Revegetation Tree Day Site Details

Jackey Jackey Revegetation

Join the Cassowary Coast Regional Council and Community for Coastal & Cassowary Conservation (C4) on National Tree Day to kick off the revegetation of lot 98! This area is situated directly across from World Heritage rainforest and the Hull River National Park, home to several endangered species including the Southern Cassowary and Mahogany Glider. Our goal is to revegetate this area to strengthen the natural environment and create enhanced nature corridors for easier movement of our native wildlife. All plants used are native to Australian flora and sourced from local council nurseries. After planting, volunteers can enjoy a BBQ and refreshments.
