Friends of Lane Cove National Park

The aim is to continue the work of hundreds of volunteers over many years to restore this area that was once a pig farm. The work will focus on the restoration and enhancement of the habitat for local indigenous species which includes endangered Powerful Owls which roost nearby.

DIRECTIONS

Come to Tunk’s Hill Picnic Area, off Riverside Drive (Enter from Delhi Road, or Ryde Road) This is a flat easily accessible site with barbeques, picnic tables and toilets. Please note that you will need to pay to enter the National Park, $7.00 / car unless you have a NPWS parks pass.
