Greening Australia Regional Biodiversity Workshops
Author: Lucy Band
Throughout January, Greening Australia will be running a number of workshops focussing on guiding and establishing biodiverse plantings throughout the landscape. These sessions recognise the number of initiatives being funded Federally to deliver economic, environmental, and social outcomes to regional Australia through targeted on-ground action.
The aim of the January workshops is to help provide communities with up to date information about efficient and effective approaches to reintroducing and managing biodiversity. There will be a range of community members able to benefit from the various funding opportunities under the Land Sector Package, so feel free to share this information with friends and colleagues.
In NSW, the workshops will be held on January 17th in Bowral and Yass, 18th in the Hunter Valley, and 19th in Tamworth. There will be similar workshops held in other States around the same time.
RSVP's to workshops can be made via the Greening Australia website
