Help us celebrate Schools Tree Day on Friday 30 July and show us how life is better with trees!

Register your kindergarten or preschool activities to go in the draw to win one of 50 copies of Peter Carnavas' new book "The Last Tree in the City".

You could engage in a range of activities, including: 

  • planting trees and shrubs
  • making paper mache pots and growing seedlings
  • creating a vege garden
  • going for a bushwalk with a guide
  • reading a fun book related to trees
  • or arranging for a bushcare officer or ranger to give a talk at your school

Competition Terms and Conditions
This competition is open to all 2010 Preschools and Kindergartens in NSW, NT, QLD, SA, VIC, TAS and WA who register a National Tree Day site or activity before 5pm AEST, Thursday 29 July 2010. Residents of the ACT are ineligible to enter. This competition is a game of chance and the winner(s) will be chosen at random. The draw will take place at Planet Ark's Sydney Office, Level 2, 15-17 Young Street, SYDNEY, NSW 2000, on Friday 6 August 2010. Winners will be announced before Friday 13 August 2010 and will be notified by phone or email. The 50 names that are drawn will be awarded a 1 x "The Last Tree In the City" book by Peter Carnavas.
