Canon's corporate philosophy, Kyosei, is based on the philosophy of living and working together for the common good. This means there is a strong commitment to making a positive change in local communities.
Canon came on board as a National Tree Day supporter in 2014 as a way to engage their staff in all of our sustainability goals as well as helping to improve the local environment. Events will be held at Canon offices around the country with staff stepping outside to plant trees and showing their commitment to the community.
2016 National Tree Day Prize
Planet Ark has teamed up with Canon to provide Tree Day Coordinators the chance to win one of 16 Canon Powershot Cameras as prizes, valued at $300 each. To be in the draw to win all you need to do is;
Submit your event results (number of trees, participants etc) of your National/Schools Tree Day activities.
Then complete the post-event survey (your experiences, resources etc).
- Competition closes on 30th August
If you've run the event as part of an organisation (school, council etc.) make sure you know the policies on accepting prizes. If you can't accept it yourself you can donate the prize to another group or person.
