Bunnings, Australia’s leading retailer of home improvement and outdoor living products, has a long term commitment to materially reducing its environmental impact through energy efficiency measures, water conservation, waste reduction and responsible sourcing of timber.

Bunnings is also committed to active community support and has been working with schools on  sustainability activities for more than a decade.  As an official supporter of Schools Tree Day, Bunnings is looking forward to working with Planet Ark to make it an even bigger event.  Schools Tree Day provides a great opportunity for Bunnings Team Members to provide hands on support in their local communities.

Schools Tree Day forms part of Bunnings’ ongoing commitment to playing an active and engaging role within each of our local communities, as well as a strong commitment to sustainability.  This includes a focus on making sustainability easier and more affordable for customers through free D.I.Y. workshops and a range of online information including brochures, videos, sustainability calculators and an interactive Sustainability Home which provides hints and tips on how to make a difference through simple, low cost changes to the home and garden.
