We Love Aintree Community Planting

Come and take part in a huge community tree planting day along the Kororoit Creek in Aintree next to the Taylors Rd bridge. We have approximately 5,000 trees, grasses, and shrubs to plant along the creek as part of our on-going revegetation program. Come and love where you live, creating habitat for wildlife and increasing the health of the biodiversity in our neighbourhood. Parking is along Cordhill Circuit and Bonniebrook Road (please don’t park on the nature strip or nature reserves). A map will be posted in the comments. Meeting Point, Welcome to Country, and planting demonstration at 9:15am (Park reserve opposite 47 Cordhill Circuit, Aintree). CLOTHING: Please BYO garden gloves, wear sturdy enclosed footwear, and appropriate clothing for the exposed weather conditions along the creek. The ground around the creek can be uneven and rocky.
