The Cooloosa Urban Wetland Rehabilitation project has been underway for nearly 3 years. This project aims to restore a once pristine coastal wetland/woodland that had all but been destroyed by many years of illegal dumping and invasion from weeds. The site contains essential habitat a number of threatened species of frogs as well as Glossy Black Cockatoos and a number of others.

Parking for the event can be accessed on Cooloosa St which runs off David Low Way.
