Granard Wetlands Tree Planting with CreekWatch

CreekWatch and the Wilderness Society Queensland are hosting a tree planting at Granard Wetlands, Rocklea. Our aim is to bring together local businesses and residents to help care for our waterways and restore riparian habitat. Granard Wetlands is located along Stable Swamp Creek and is in a highly industrialised area that has been subject to extensive clearing, rubbish dumping and weed infestation. As part of our four year project to restore wildlife habitat and improve water quality we will be planting trees within our rehabilitation area.
