Booragoon Lake National Tree Day planting

Revegetation is underway at Booragoon Lake to increase the vegetation buffer around the edge of this important wetland. This national tree day will be continuing planting around the edge of the lake as part of the Beeliar Regional Park Grant project. Event being supported by Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions, Applecross Rotary Club and the City of Melville. Information and a stall will be provided by SERCUL and Native Arc to provide information on water quality and the importance of protecting our native flora and fauna in our wetlands.

Parking available in the street and on grassed verge areas. Volunteers required to wear closed in shoes, bring a water bottle and rain jacket in case of rain.
