Albury City Council National Tree Day

As part of National Tree Day 2019 the aim is to plant along stage one of the extended Wagirra Trail. The trail will in time follow along the edge of the Murray River and loop back around to Wonga Wetlands. Tree planting will increase habitat along the Murray River and provide a wildlife corridor for a range of species that call Albury and the Murray river home.

DIRECTIONS

Turn left off the Riverina Hwy onto Waterview Road, Splitters Creek (just before Wonga Wetlands). Tree planting will be located along the first stage of the extended Wagirra Trail which will loop around Wonga Wetlands.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

If you have your own gloves and hand tools please bring but there will be some gloves and tools for volunteers. A bbq lunch will be provided.
