City of Canning

The community is invited to attend a National Tree Day planting event at Beasley Reserve hosted by the City. The planting will be focused on infilling degraded areas of the bushland, helping to improve aesthetics of the area and habitat for local wildlife. The City encourages the community to come along to learn more about the unique flora and fauna in their area.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

Other details: Please sign in on arrival and wear sunscreen, a hat, appropriate clothing/footwear and gardening gloves (if you have some). The City will supply spare gloves and trowels. Food and drink: Light refreshments and water to refill your own bottle will be supplied. Please also bring your own reusable coffee cup if you’d like a hot drink. Transport: There is limited parking on-site so please plan ahead and walk or use public transport, if possible. Some grass and verge parking is available – follow directions from officers on the day.
