Aims of the project: Help Friends of Lane Cove National Park restore this important habitat corridor along the Lane Cove River. This is the tenth year of planting in this area (nine with National Tree Day) restoring heavily degraded riparian vegetation. We aim to plant in excess of 1,000 locally indigenous plants bringing our total in this area to well over 10,000.
Refreshments and a free sausage sizzle for all participants.

Directions: River Avenue is an easily accessible portion of Lane Cove National Park. Located off Delhi Road near Fullers Bridge. The site is located near to 110 River Avenue. It is a level site with plenty of parking available.

Notes about the day for Volunteers:
Please wear suitable clothing, long sleeves, long trousers and a hat.
