Brandon Road Bushcare Group

Working in parkland on the eastern side of Brandon Road, Runcorn, this group is focusing on restoring wetlands that are part of the upper reaches of the Bulimba Creek Catchment. Their work involves weed control, revegetation and creek bank stabilisation. The project aims to improve water quality and increase native plant and animal diversity.

Looking for an opportunity to do some hands-on planting, weeding or cleaning up in the catchment? Please join us for National Tree Day. No experience necessary! Brandon Road Bushcare Group, Runcorn meets the second Sunday of the month. Come along and enjoy the company of this hard-working group of volunteers, contribute to the maintenance of our creek and park, and share in morning tea. Wear a hat, covered shoes and sunscreen. Meet near the pedestrian footbridge over the creek.
