Tree Day Site Details
This event has already taken place
Sunday, 29 July 2018 9:00am to 1:00pm
Aims of the project: City of Wanneroo, in conjunction with the Quinns Rocks Environmental Group, is hosting a National Tree Day activity at James Cook Park. This location is important because it is a Banksia woodland which provides habitat for fauna and is widely utilised by the public. We are aiming to rehabilitate the area with endemic species to increase biodiversity and beautify the park for the local community. This is a chance to learn about native flora and fauna and meet your local community.
