Aims of the project: Weyba Creek Buslandcare group is hosting a National Tree Day at Weyba Creek Park (Dog Park) . This location is important because we are removing weeds and planting native plants on the bank of Weyba Creek. We are aiming to strengthen the stability of the Creek Bank and increase plant safety for people and animals. The area is an off-leash dog exercise are and many of the weeds we have removed e.g. Singapore daisy are harmful to dogs.Many of the native plants we will be planting have flowers and colourful leaves which will add beauty to our local park

Volunteers are advised to wear sturdy shoes and clothes, wear a hat, bring drinking water, Sunscreen, insect spray, gloves and water provided.
