Trees provide the very necessities of life itself. They give us oxygen, store carbon, provide us with materials and support wildlife. To provide these services, trees rely on a range of environmental elements to survive and thrive. This year we’ve collaborated with Cool Australia to create a lesson plan based around how trees interact with non living things (elements).
As part of this, we’re asking students around Australia to create a poster showing the relationship between trees and one or more of the elements (fire, water, air, earth, light).
We've created a colouring sheet for early learning students to get creative with!
Please find Trees and the Elements colouring sheet here
The competition is open to all early learning and primary school students. Share up to 3 photos of your poster and one of your colouring sheet with us for the chance to win one of 4 prize packs for your class! Posters can either be submitted by an individual or on behalf of a class.
Get creative and good luck!
