Aims of the project: This National Tree Day we will be working towards the care and renewal of local natural places, native plants & animals. Come and join us for some fun and hard work and find out how life really is better with trees!

Directions: Native indigenous trees are to be suppled by the City of Melbourne and will be planted in existing mulched and tree guarded positions where trees have recently disappeared. Volunteers are request to meet near the old, aboriginal canoe cutout tree on the hilltop up from gate 6 & RFC carpark.

Notes about the day for Volunteers:
Please bring along planting tools, mallets for tree stakes,water buckets or cans and a picnic lunch and drink for after the work.
