Tree Day Site Details

Sunday, 30 July 2017 10:00am to 1:00pm

Aims of the project: Johns Hill-Emerald Landcare is hosting a Tree Day planting at Avonsleigh Common. This small patch of remnant bushland, opposite the Avonsleigh Store, has threatened species such as Emerald Star Bush and is good habitat for wildlife. But it's been neglected. Over the last couple of years, courtesy of the national government's Dandenongs Environment grant a lot of weed work has been done. National Tree Day gives us the chance to plant up some of the areas that need a bit of help - come see what it's about!
