Tree Day Site Details
Saturday, 29 July 2017 1:00pm to 4:30pm
Aims of the project: Cubberla Witton Catchments Network is hosting a National Tree Day tree planting activity at St Lucia Golf Course Handel Street Indooroopilly. This location is important because it is part of a natural vegetation corridor and, an "of concern" regional ecosystem. We are aiming to remove noxious weeds and then regenerate the area and increase biodiversity and habitat to create a corridor to the Brisbane River. You will be able to join with St Lucia Golf Course Bushcare Group and concerned students from the University of Queensland to replant close to a hectare of native vegetation.
