Team members from Bunnings Esperance travelled over 50km to work with students from Scaddan Primary School, planting natives and working on their kitchen garden.

Scaddan Primary School is involved in the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden program; they eat what they grow and learn valuable skills and lessons about food education. Bunnings Esperance team members helped the students with a crop rotation and talked about the importance of sustainability.

Schools Tree Day 2015 also provided the perfect opportunity for the students to plant a native Hakea Laurina tree, which is their school emblem
